This lead free crystal gin glass is hand painted with a design, inspired by chapter VIII of Alice in Wonderland, 'The Queen's Croquet Ground'. The design features Alice holding her flamingo, croquet mallet and restraining her hedgehog ball. The red painted roses sit on stylised, black-stemmed bushes and the foot of the glass is finished off with more roses and little hedgehogs.
These lovely, goblets are made from lead free crystal with a raised, reinforced rim and generous bowl that holds up to 700ml. From base to rim, it stands 19cm tall.
This style of glass is ideal for drinks with ice as the glass bowl is slightly sturdier than a standard wine glass and it holds a lot of liquid. Perfect for gin and tonic.
Gin-thusiasts can't have failed to notice the rise and rise of the Spanish-style serve for gin and tonic. The large balloon style with a wide mouth makes it easy to fill the glass with plenty of ice and the stem allows you to hold the glass without getting chilly fingers and keeps the drink colder for longer.
